The DFA approach aims to lift the client's lifestyle through improving their physical self. A sound body greatly assists in reducing conditions like depression and stress as well as improving concentration, and so brings about a more sound mind.
The self-defence option aims to provide my clients with self-confidence to protect themselves and their loved ones should the need ever arise and places a much greater emphasis on improving mental focus.
Our history
DFA has it's roots in the United Kingdom where I am from. I have previously offered a variety of styles of classes to all ages. From training young adults in a self-defence capacity, to hospital patients and social care groups with varying levels of mental health issues, to groups of people in their golden years. My Tàijí and martial arts years have brought some great friends and rich experience.
